We visited on Sat for our 1st Wedding Anniversary...and what a treat it was! Mary and Jim were amazing
hosts, we couldn't find fault at all. We had the taster menu with afew extras thrown in....so a total of
15 different fish! It was simply outstanding. The food, the atmosphere and the friendless will bring us back
in a flash! Thanks so much Mary & Jim for a wonderful evening. |

Dear Jim and Mary,
Thanks again for a great, and to be honest unexpected, meal (we've had mixed luck
with dining on this trip). Great food (the hake was a standout, but then so were the mussels, and actually
everything was good), very warm and attentive service and a lovely space. Just pity you couldn't be
further away from where we live (although at least on the same island). We'll definitely return, and
expect world beating oysters and crab next time. In the meantime, best of luck and thanks again, Marc and

My daughter and I enjoyed a wonderful welcome and an amazing meal at the Galley a few weeks ago. It was a
great experience with Mary being the hostess with the mostess and very helpful and professional staff in

Well what can we say...David planned this as a surprise for me and I was not disappointed at all. From the
moment that we walked in we were made feel welcome by Mary and the young lady that served us. Drinks order
taken and a amazing menu presented to us.
I have never tasted such amazing fish. Every mouthful that we
tasted was wonderful. Thank you for such a fantastic time and we both hope that your son's wedding in
Thailand is a wonderful event.

During a recent visit home to celebrate my father’s birthday, we dined at the Captains Galley. A great
evening out, a very warm welcoming and attentive staff, great service, fantastic food, good interaction
between guests and staff. Next time you'll have to throw us out (after midnight).
Highly recommend a visit to
enjoy this historically unique restaurant, a fantastic ambience and enjoy high quality sea food.

I would really like to say a HUGE thank you for an excellent meal!! We came just before Christmas as the
restaurant had been recommended to us...and we are so glad that we came. The food was amazing and the

regular attendance.
Absolutely awesome experience and, for once, Ali was lost for words. That, my friends,
is a rarity. The awards speak for themselves but barely give a hint of what's in store when you are lucky
enough to dine in the Captain's Galley.
