The name of the boat in the following photographs is the Boy Andrew. It's a locally based Caithness boat owned by the Bremner family, the crew are all local to Caithness, Andrew Bremner is the skipper, (the boat is named after him).

His Father Norman was a very successful fisherman for many years until ill health forced him to retire this is their 4th boat and they've all being called the same name with PLN (port letters and number) WK 170.  Andrew is no stranger to success as one of Scotland's top fishermen and during his glittering career has held numerous awards, top annual grossing Scottish boat, top gross for a single catch.

He lands his catches regularly in Scrabster and the majority of the fish we serve in the restaurant comes from this boat. It's an 86 foot steel boat built in the Cambeltown ship yard. He goes out fishing for 10 day trips, but will land his fish 3 times throughout the trip - this makes sure the quality is always the best.
